Check it out!"casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you" - 1 Peter 5:7Jesus cares about what you care about. He wants to take away what worries you. He wants to carry that for you. Pastor Jamie brought up this verse as evidence that Jesus isn't just for humanity generally, he's also here for you specifically. Paul used this verse in his elder prayer at the 11am service as well, so really stop and chew on what Peter is trying to tell you. Jesus cares about you specifically and he wants you to give him what you're anxious about. He already knows what it is, you can't hide anything from him. He just wants you to release it over to him. Just like we sang together in "Death was Arrested": Jesus wants us to know "we're free, free forever we're free". Jesus wants you to be able to rejoice in what he did for you and help others to rejoice as well "Come join the song of all the redeemed"
