Sarah Fulford is academic historian from Curtin University. Sarah's thesis focused on the experiences of Australian nurses who served in World War II and were taken as prisoners of war by the Japanese soldiers.Sarah's research sheds light on a little-known aspect of the war, discussing the experiences of the nurses, the conditions they endured as POWs, and the legacy of their service and sacrifice.
