The Evangelical Covenant Church is committed to advancing the mission of God through the multiethnic mosaic of churches, of which we are all a part. We celebrate the diversity of the mosaic of God’s people and churches and seek to reach the entirety of our diverse mission field.  We also seek to unify the church by breaking down dividing walls through Biblical justice. Becoming a Beloved Community is a sermon series designed to equip, inspire, and challenge us to develop awareness, understanding, and action towards joining God in making things right in a broken world. This week we talk about what a beloved community actually looks like? A beautiful illustration is found with the body of Christ metaphor described in 1 Corinthians 12. Color-courageous disciples can most effectively build beloved community as we foster solidarity, interdependence, and biblical equity. We conclude with a reading of 1 Corinthians 13 and a corporate recommitment to build beloved community as agents of love.  Support the show
