Rhys Martin is a Route 66 preservationist who is heavily involved with historic preservation initiatives pertaining to the highway on a local, state, and national scale. After traveling the world, Rhys returned to his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he began to pay more attention to the unique culture and history of the central US. In this conversation, Rhys shares what he's come to love about Route 66, some projects he's gotten to take part in, and a glimpse into the future of the road and the community that surrounds it.The Community Center is a show about building community.
