As a Child of God, sin should no longer rule in your life. When you ask Jesus to save you and become the Lord of your heart, you won’t lose your ability or tendency to sin. It may be diminished, but more than that you should have a new motivation to live a life that honors your Savior. The word sin is derived from an archery term for missing the mark. If you’ve ever shot a bow, you know how hard it can be to hit that target, and even more so to hit it perfectly in the center every time.
