Listen "BBR Webinar: Economic Contributions of Lincoln Premium Poultry to the Nebraska Economy"
Episode Synopsis
The Lincoln Premium Poultry (LPP) facility in Fremont, Nebraska has developed an ecosystem for raising and processing poultry in eastern Nebraska, including facilities for hatching, feeding, and processing birds and well as affiliated poultry barns. The facility is also a headquarters location. The LPP investment is an interesting example of an appropriate economic development project for Nebraska and this webinar discusses its economic contributions. This session is co-hosted by Eric Thompson, Karl H. Nelson Professor and Chair of Economics, and the Director of the Nebraska Bureau of Business Research (BBR), and Jessica Kolterman, Director of Administration for Lincoln Premium Poultry. Ms. Kolterman oversees Human Resources, Training & Development, Governmental Relations, Community Relations, Public Relations, and all company culture programing. She is also closely involved with the operations team, the live production team, and the safety and environmental programs.
