Lomasney, a local politician. This rye whiskey-based drink, featuring lemon and orange juices and grenadine, is a twist on the Whiskey Sour. While there are variations in its preparation, the original recipe is said to have originated at the Locke-Ober Café in Boston's eighth ward. Ingredients2 oz. rye whiskey5 oz. lemon juice, freshly squeezed5 oz. orange juice, freshly squeezed2 teaspoons grenadineGarnish: 2 or 3 speared cherriesDirections:Add the rye whiskey, lemon and orange juices and grenadine to a shaker with ice.Shake until well-chilled.Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.Garnish with speared cherries.Recipe credit: liquor.com
