On todays episode I speak to the Media Personality Tarryn Kay Trussell van Louw, also known as TK, about her journey in the industry and why it is important to take a flexible approach to the changing landscape. TK has extensive experience in the space, and has worked in both television and radio.
TK shares why it is important to observe what is going on in your industry, and how doing this has allowed her to anticipate the ‘bends’ ahead and pivot where necessary.
It was not always obvious that TK was a gifted communicator, instead her talkative nature at school saw her being labelled a chatterbox. It was only later in life that she began to realise that her voice is one of her biggest assets. This just shows that what might be viewed a problem at one stage of your life can turn into the greatest gift at the next.
