Listen "Closing the 18-Inch Gap Podcast-EP047: Master These Steps in 2025 for Unimaginable Success!"
Episode Synopsis
New Year, new chapter, new verse, or just the same old story? Ultimately, we write it. The choice is ours. Celebrate endings - for they precede new beginnings. You probably know by now that most New Year's resolutions fail within the first two weeks. In fact, 88% of people will drop their goals before the end of January according to Baylor College of Medicine. But what you may not know is how to end up in the other 12% of those who DO reach their New Year's resolutions. Today I want to bring you some points that will help you have an amazing 2025. It turns out that the number three somehow showed up in every point I want to bring. It wasn't intentional but it will certainly help you remember better as studies show that we best remember things in threes. Quote for the week: New Year's Day is everyone's birthday. Charles Lamb Points covered: 1. A simple formula for success for 2025: Goals, a plan and Action. "Action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action." Benjamin Disraeli Success requires all three. Which do you need to do a better job in 2025? 2. What three and only three big goals will you set for 2025? ONLY 3! "Run it back. You've got this." "Run it back" is a phrase that means to repeat or do something again. It is often used to suggest that something should be repeated or done again in order to achieve a desired result or outcome. The phrase is often used in casual or informal situations, and can be used in a variety of contexts, such as sports, music, or everyday situations. 3. Here are a few tips to help you continue making 2025 a strong year: · Prioritize Wisely: Focus on tasks that bring the most value. Use the ABCDE System to organize your to-dos by importance. · Plan Ahead: Start each day by planning your priorities. A clear plan helps you work smarter, not harder. · Protect Your Time: Block time on your calendar for what matters most — whether it's holiday shopping, family, or finishing up year-end work. Say more no than you do yes. Saying yes to too many things will take you away from what is most important. 4. Bonus point! You have to stop listening to the voices that hold you back. Everything is changing and you need to think outside the box to get ahead. When people zig, you zag. Break some rules that are bureaucratic non-sense.
