We all inhabit a planet that is co-inhabited by lots of other people, most of which are very different from you. Many people spend their lives narrowing down the relationships they have with other people to just a trusted, reliable, comfortable few. This is unfortunately the opposite direction we should be going as when we are done on this planet, it’s great to have touched and inspired as many other lives as possible. This requires our ability to interact with others, even when they are very different from ourselves. Healthcare is a people business, all about working with others to help people.
