Cindi Rigsbee is an English teacher currently "on loan" to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. A National Board Certified Teacher, she was the North Carolina Teacher of the Year and a finalist for National Teacher of the Year (2009). Mary Ann Zehr teaches 11th- and 12th-grade English to English-language learners in the District of Columbia Public Schools.
