Staying strong in the midst of stark societal and political oppression is not a foreign concept to Black women. Political movement and progressive change is not possible without our involvement. In short, Black women are the backbone of democracy and the robust force behind the Black community’s advancement in political spaces. 
This is all to say that when it comes to protecting the community against the current Trump administration or any other force, Black women are standing up and striking back. For this episode, we are discussing how Black women are protecting their communities from attacks.
