Listen "Sorrow turns to joy when we see Jesus"
Episode Synopsis
The Sunday after Easter, April 16, 2023 sermon by Craig Johnson at Triumph Lutheran Church, Ferndale, Washington. Text is John 20:10-18. Mary of Magdalene thought Jesus was still dead and His body had been stolen. She stood outside the tomb weeping. But then Jesus appeared and when He said her name, her sorrow turned to joy. If Jesus was still in the tomb life would be filled with overwhelming sorrow. But Jesus is Lord over the grave and He lovingly calls us by name. We have joyful news to share with the world.
