This Sunday starts a brief series: “Know Your Enemy”. Because of all we have in Christ, you’d think the Christian life would be easy. But this expectation doesn’t align with reality. The truth is that we have multiple enemies doing everything they can to wreck our faith. In this series we’ll introduce the enemies, give an overview of their tactics and share how we can defeat them. This Sunday, we’ll start with the devil. Who is he, how does he attack us, and how can we fight back? A sermon outline and further study/discussion questions are attached.Jesus defeated the devil and his allies at the Cross. We’ll savor this victory he shares with us by taking communion this Sunday.
