This week on Cinemaholics, we review Saturday Night, a new awards-season comedy depicting the 90 minutes leading up to the airing of SNL's momentous first episode. Jason Reitman directs and co-writes with Gil Kenan, and we discuss the highs and lows of what is ultimately a fantastical, yet uneven origin story with plenty to laugh at. Saturday Night opened in limited release on September 27 and opens wide on October 11 through Sony Pictures Releasing.
