It's time to wrap up the live-action Superman films (unless you count Superman and the Mole Men. Should we do Superman and the Mole Men??) with the 2006 film Superman Returns. Aptly titled, this film brought the Man of Steel back to the big screen after nearly 20 years. Critics seemed to like it but it was met with mixed reactions from moviegoers, which resulted in stalling Superman's movie career again for another seven years. What went right? What went wrong?
