From Race, Whiteness and the Church class 2020-2021This week, Emily Ishiki from REST (Real Escape from the Sex Trade) will join us to share about the mission of the organization and the people they serve. We'll talk about how dynamics of race and gender impact the realities of the sex trade and learn about the work REST is doing to restore hope to people who have experienced trauma from trafficking in our city. We hope to discover how we can grow in our partnership with REST as a part of our continuing efforts to serve and love our city.
