The Pursuit: Position & PracticeThe Core Truth to Christians is BE what you already ARE.You're not chasing something you don't have. You're living out what you already possess in Christ. - "You WERE darkness, but now you ARE light in the Lord. Walk as children of light." Eph 5:8- Identity first (you ARE), behavior follows (walk).- "Reckon yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ." Rom 6:11 - Believe it's true, then live from that truth.The Pursuit:Not to earn your identity, but to express it.Not to become righteous, but to live from righteousness.Not to gain God's approval, but from His approval.The Danger of Imbalance:Position without Pursuit = Passivity- "I'm righteous, so how I live doesn't matter"Pursuit without Position = Performance- "I must try harder to become righteous enough"The Balance = Position empowers Pursuit- "Because I AM righteous in Christ, I pursue righteous living by His power"You pursue—but not in your own strength. You pursue empowered by Christ living in you.
