Fall - There is a discontinuity between the world as God made it (good) and the world as we now know it (less than good). 



There is a deceiving that happened during the fall and that continues today. Adam and Eve were deceived
1) in their Aspirations (be like God)
2) in their Inclinations (desires for the creation over the Creator)
3) in their Identifications (self-determining) 



The fall results in condemnation for all.  But there is a promise even in the midst of the cursing from the fall.
Proto-evangelion.  The first Gospel. Genesis 3:15. The seed of the woman will bruise the head of the serpent and will himself be bruised in his heel.
