Pastor Micah started a new series this week called "Honor" which focuses on the topic of honor. In this 3 week series we we look at the importance of honoring God, honoring those in authority, and honoring those around us! This week we looked at Malachi chapter 1 where God asks the question to the Israelites, "where are the honor and respect I deserve?" God also refers to Himself as our Father and Master. We took time to look at how God is both our Father and Master.  When it comes to deciding whether or not you're going to honor God, I want you to consider these five questions:Where does your salvation come from? (God)Where do all the blessings in your life come from? (God)Who put you on this Earth? (God)Who has a plan for your life? (God)Who deserves your honor? (God)Bottom Line: I know sometimes what God wants to speak to us isn’t always what we WANT to hear, but what we NEED to hear!
