Pastor Micah continued on in our current series called "Bridge Builders" this week. Throughout this series we will discuss the significance of being Christians who help build bridges instead of widen the gaps in our world and culture created by division. Big Idea: Sometimes the biggest chasm that exists is between family members. God teaches us about his bridge-building mentality through Jesus’ telling of the prodigal son. A boy goes off and wastes all his father gives him. At rock bottom, he decides to come home. Rather than his father being angry or frustrated, he throws a party. We should be eager to offer grace to those with whom we have a broken relationship and when it is restored, we should throw a party. Just like the father whose son was lost, but came home to be found again.
