1 John 5:14-15 when you are saved through faith in Jesus Christ, you become confident that you have eternal life. This confidence in eternal life gives you the assurance of prayer. The God we worship can truly answer prayers and does truly answer prayers. But confidence in eternal life and assurance in prayer truly work together, because its only you have confidence in eternal life can you then be assured that your prayers will be answered.
