Suzanne is passionate about light and how we can all use the energy it provides to improve our lives and sleep, as well as using UV light to combat bacteria, fungi, and viruses including the COVID-19 virus.

She owns a commercial lighting business with her husband and is a Certified Lighting Specialist. She also has an Executive Certificate in Home Modification from USC, Leonard Davis School of Gerontology. She is an invited member of the Human Centric Lighting Society, an international association of lighting experts, researchers, and neuroscientists. She has been providing presentations to local organizations for the past 4 years as well as for the annual McGinty Alzheimer’s Conference and the Oregon Senior Referral Agency Association annual conference, sharing her knowledge and passion.

Suzanne has been co-chair for the Eugene Walk to End Alzheimer’s for the past 3 years. She has been married to her husband Joe for 40 years, has 3 grown sons, 3 daughters-in-law, and 3 grandchildren who are the light of her life.
