In the 4th episode of my podcast I chat with my friend and occasional colleague Madeleine Oman! Madeleine is a PhD student in Bioinformatics at the University of Toronto, and her research in evolutionary genomics involves understanding the distribution of mutations in the genome. We chat about the recent advancements in genomics research, what we do and don't understand (yet) about the genome, and some fun facts about human genetics. We also discuss the differences and similarities in our experiences pursuing graduate studies.
