Prior to coming to the IU, he spent 27 years in the classroom as a physics teacher. He is an ISTE Certified Educator and Apple Education Trainer. He served for 4 years on the ISTE Board of Directors and was awarded the prestigious Making IT Happen! Award in 2011. Ben has been involved in educational technology for 35+ years including partnering to run his own consultancy. Some of the groups he has worked with and presented for include Singapore Ministry of Education, NASA, HP, NBA, NSTA, Vietnam, USVI Ministry of Education, and Fermilab National Accelerator. In addition, Ben has presented on Capitol Hill twice. He has presented on topics of technology integration, science education, STEM and 21st century education across the globe and conferences such as ISTE, SITE, NCTET, NSTA, and PETE&C.Want to learn more about ChangED?
