Many young people do not know scripture or read the Bible. This episode is teaching our children Bible verses they can remember as well as use scripture to help them defeat the enemy. As a young child I learned this short scripture and understood early I life when I was being pursued by the enemy, especially when it was personal and physical contact, how important this verse became to me. It helped me through lots of dark days even when I didn’t understand its meaning. I knew if my mother taught me this scripture and I had to repeat it every morning before leaving for school that it was of some significance and was going to help me. And it did.
