As this is being published, the outcome of the Presidential election of three days ago is still undetermined. While both sides are anxiously awaiting a final resolution, it should be noted that regardless of the outcome, we still have a country where we the people still get to decide who occupies the Presidency and who will represent us in Congress. That's good. Unfortunately, we also have a system of taxation that is exceedingly intrusive, unfair and unworkable. That's bad. But, the same thing that makes our country great also gives us the means by which we can throw off the shackles of the income/payroll tax system and usher in the FAIRtax.
