Paul’s letter to the Philippians is all about helping followers of Jesus have a gospel perspective on life. In a world full of many different perspectives we need a proper God perspective more than ever. Our circumstances might not change, but with Jesus our perspective can.

How does it make you feel that the Apostle Paul still considered himself as in the process of owning his faith?
Are there parts of your past that you find hard to let go of? What would it look like to own your past but not let your past own you?
What about your future in Christ encourages you to live differently in the present? How does your future influence your view of your past?
What areas of your faith are you still working on owning and making your own? What areas of your faith do you need to mature in more?
