During the Christmas season, we are reminded of the various characters who played their part in the Christmas Story. We even add characters to the “nativity” that were not there. But what we may not understand is what took place behind the scenes to bring the Savior of the World. God used ordinary people to prepare and pave the way for Jesus to enter into the world He created. Some of them worked behind the scene centuries before Jesus uttered his first cry in Bethlehem. All sacrificed something to be used by God. They were the unsung heroes of the Christmas story who went above and beyond in their obedience to God!
