Today, we are finishing our study on 2 Peter, Chapter 2. We have spent many Sundays delving into God’s judgment of false teachers and false prophets because God has much to say about them. Let me summarize God’s feelings about those who teach falsehoods that would lead people away from Him and His TRUTH: He hates them. Why would I say that? Because according to our text today, He reserves the darkest blackness for them, indicating it’s one of the worst levels of punishment. So, knowing that God hates this, it’s best that we seek TRUTH amid the false teaching and learn to obey God’s truth as a way to prove our love for Him. Jesus already proved His love for us, so our responsibility is to love Him back in like manner, even amid the world's corruption. Worship and study with us.
