Pastor Andrew Schmidt begins our Advent 2023 series “Get Ready!”. This series focuses on the life and ministry of John the Baptist and his role in preparing the way for Jesus. This week we focus on what it means to prepare the way for the Lord (GET READY!), and the hope of good news that God’s salvation is available to all. Repeated themes this week include calls to repentance and the peace that comes through the message of fire. We are encouraged to consider how we can get ready in a personal way, get ready to share the good news, and to get ready by fasting during Advent. See more here.
