Scripture Passage: Genesis 12:1-20
A person of faith obeys God.

A person of faith must be willing to go wherever God calls.
A person of faith must be willing to forsake all for God.

A person of faith worships God.

Our worship stands in contrast to our culture.
Our worship involves time and effort.
Our worship is to be given to the Lord.

A person of faith can falter and fail.

We delay in obeying God.
We lean on our own understanding.
We can be selfish, deceive others and put others in jeopardy.
We can bring trouble on others.
We can put our testimony at risk.

A person of faith has a wonderful God.

The Lord graciously reveals himself.
The Lord demonstrates patience.
The Lord blesses us beyond belief.
The Lord intercedes.
The Lord gives blessings in spite of our failures.
The Lord forgives and restores.
