Listen "233 - Meditation and Anger"
Episode Synopsis
From the beginning, Catholic history has been filled with saints who fervently practiced meditation. This is a powerful form of a prayer that can make a huge impact on how you see and interact with the world. Sadly, most of us have lost touch. We're just too busy. We've crammed our lives with too much activity. Even our prayers, holy and awesome as they are, are often crammed in and said with haste to "just get it done." It's OK, I find myself living that way too often also. Join me in this episode as I explore a different type of prayer. Meditation is a prayer that focuses on doing less, or rather doing nothing of my own agenda. I empty myself and invite the Lord in. It's a prayer of surrender - of myself, my agenda, and my need to get so much done! Especially if you struggle with anger, I suggest you explore Catholic meditation.
