Jesus was moved with an internal yearning, and deep sense of sympathy called compassion towards the hurting, the rejected, and the outcasts. Because of his concern for hurting people, He would not ignore or walk away from meeting a need.
Compassion never walks away from people in great pain, in desperate need or in deep spiritual poverty.
