Today marks the one year anniversary of the traumatic fall that my mother sustained fracturing her leg and requiring major surgery. I wanted to commemorate the journey by cementing this timestamp as a testament to her, her legacy, and her love. She has a diagnosis of Vascular dementia which made the interview a bit less fruitful than I would have hoped but nevertheless a dose of inspiration for those facing Geriatric crises, emergencies, sudden illness and the caregiver journey. As a Registered Nurse who practiced private duty nursing and midwifery. She illustrated Impactful Caregiving at its best!
