I am delighted to have Dr. Jason Furman as my guest today. Dr. Furman was the top economic advisor for the Obama Administration for eight years, and he was the 28th Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors. He also served under the Clinton Administration. Currently, Dr. Furman is the Aetna Professor of the Practice of Economic Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and the Department of Economics at Harvard University, and he co-teaches the largest course there. He is a member of several organizations including the Council on Foreign Relations and the Hamilton Project and writes regularly for publications like the Wall Street Journal.
