Listen "#1916: Desperate Measures"
Episode Synopsis
This week on The Best of Car Talk, Amy's brilliant husband's brain doesn't have room to process a few small details while driving, like keeping the car in his lane. Amy's screams of terror don't seem to be helping him improve, so she may need to figure out a creative (and potentially disgusting) way to convince him she needs to drive. Elsewhere, seminary student Matt's truck is leaking oil onto someone else's driveway and fixing it would cost more than the truck is worth. Also, Tom's daughter is about to take a year off college to work on an organic farm 3,000 miles away. He's wondering if her truck can handle the drive, or if she'll need to find an organic farm 2,995 miles closer; Ellen's Sable has a flatulence problem; and Kimberly's BMW is having even more trouble adjusting to living in New York City than she is. All this and more this week on The Best of Car Talk.
