there was a time time when people were very Truthful and did the right thing when it comes to helping others..There is nothing inherently wrong with being truthful, but there are times when being brutally or unfiltered honest can cause unnecessary harm or damage relationships. The key is to balance honesty with compassion, kindness, and tact. Honesty also involves being trustworthy, loyal, fair, and sincere. A reputation for honesty is denoted by terms like reputability and trustworthiness. Honesty about one's future conduct, loyalties, or commitments is called accountability, reliability, dependability, or conscientiousness.The Bible emphasizes honesty as a core principle for followers of God, viewing dishonesty and lies as detestable to God and a sin against Him. Key teachings include a command to always speak truthfully to others, avoid false witness, and ensure promises are kept. Honesty reflects God's own truthful nature and is essential for maintaining unity, trust, and integrity within the community and in actions towards others.  One of those values was the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” That meant treating others with honesty, fairness, truthfulness, respect, consideration, neighborly assistance and integrity.
