Synopsis: Through the Gospel a new way of living has opened to born again Christians, for we are dead to sin and to the law, and are made alive to God now under grace. Trying to overcome indwelling sin by the power of the flesh left us wretched and miserable, but the Gospel frees us from the dominion of the Law of Moses so we are free to serve God in the newness of the Holy Spirit.
