Pastor Matt Andersen of Calvary Chapel Oasis in Paterson, NJ. Pastor Matt currently serves as the Executive Director at Star of Hope Ministries. He and his wife Jessica served as missionary teachers in Okinawa, Japan and held teaching posts with the Department of Defense schools in Okinawa. Pastor Matt also served as worship leader at Calvary Chapel Okinawa. In 2007, he and his wife Jessica followed the Lord’s call to return to the U.S. and plant a Calvary Chapel in New Jersey.In 2013 Pastor Matt planted Calvary Chapel Oasis in downtown Paterson, where he now serves as Senior Pastor. Matt is very passionate about the teaching of the Word of God and about the people under his care. His ultimate dream is to see a mighty work of God among the people of God, through the Word of God, by the Spirit of God.
