As California and its leaders are persevering after the crushing impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the state and the entire nation. The state’s higher education system will be at the forefront working to create new technologies, grow our economy, and preparing workforces for the future. The challenges that California has been facing are shared by other states and working with federal leadership on bipartisan solutions is critical. On this episode, Chancellor Eloy Ortiz Oakley is joined by Margaret Spellings, the president and CEO of Texas 2036 and the former U.S. Secretary of Education, to discuss bridging the gap between educational attainment and workforce demands.
