Listen "Msgr. McCormac's Homily for the 26th Sunday of Ordinary Time - Sunday, September 28, 2025"
Episode Synopsis
In today's homily, Msgr. McCormac explains that we might be tempted to think that the problem with the rich man in today's gospel was that he was rich. That was not the problem. The problem was that he did not see Lazarus, the man who was before him. He was poor and hungry. Because he did not see this man, he did not assist in feeding or clothing him. The rich man missed many opportunities to make a difference. Who are some people with needs that we fail to see in our families and communities? The only way to be of assistance to our family and friends is to reach out and talk with them. The Lord has blessed all of us with eyesight, and the Lord is asking us to "see", and to respond. Please share this podcast with a neighbor or a friend, and have a blessed week.
