In this episode we talk about the book “How to Avoid Falling in Love with a Jerk” by John Van Epp with Ava Turner. Ava is currently a senior in her undergraduate program studying Marriage and Family Studies at BYU Idaho, where she found her passion for relationship education & mental health, & family advocacy. She now works as part of BYU-Idaho's Hope Council, doing mental health advocacy, awareness, and education & as a T.A. for a Child & Family Advocacy class on campus. After graduation, Ava hopes to empower individuals & families as a Family Life Educator & Christian Family Advocate—helping others to build strong & healthy dating, marriage, & parent-child relationships in their homes & communities.
