The way you end a story gives meaning to the story. The way you end a life gives meaning to a life. Mark’s account of the resurrection is the perfect ending of his gospel. It's not simply “and he lived happily ever after..". But with his ending, Mark forces us to make a personal response to Jesus. It’s an ending that challenges us. That moves us to action.
