Johnson Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the J. L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Kotler is recognized globally as a leading marketing authority.
Kotler's seminal textbook, Marketing Management, is the most widely adopted text in marketing education worldwide.
He earned his M.A. in economics from the University of Chicago in 1953 and his Ph.D. in economics from M.I.T. in 1956. Kotler has been honored with honorary degrees from 22 prestigious institutions, including Stockholm University, the University of Zurich, and Athens University of Economics and Business.
