When we consider our identity, we may ask, ‘Who am I and why am I here?’ In this message, Lukas Nakos teaches us that when we belong to Christ, we become citizens of heaven. Who we are is no longer rooted in our nationality or our culture; we are Christians first. As believers, we are called to live by the culture of God’s Kingdom, not the patterns of the world. As ambassadors of Christ, we received a mandate to proclaim the gospel and make disciples of all nations. Lukas urges us not to be entangled by the distractions of this life but to live from the citizenship that Jesus purchased for us.
