The Sets In Order organization which published Square Dancing Magazine had by 1970 established two lists of calls that made up Modern Square Dancing.  The introductory list was called the 50 Basics which was considered beginner or entry level.  "Sets" released albums for their subscribers which featured prominent callers from around the world using calls from the SIO lists.  This was the Basics Album.
