Hey Army, Welcome back to BTS Breakdown, I hope you have had a wonderful day and week ahead! This week I look at Answer Love Myself and Interlude Shadow, two songs that deal with self acceptance and worth towards yourself. Answer Love Myself talks about finding and longing for self love and acceptance and worth. Realizing that what society draws upon us is not the right answer of how we should look and dress and instead we should be ourselves and not what society etc says. Loving yourself does take a while as its a journey towards feeling confident in yourself. So don't beat yourself up if it takes a while trust me it will come, also remember that all the BTS and Army did it and are continuing to love themselves. Moving on to Interlude: Shadow , one of Suga's solo songs from Map of the Soul 7 album. Interlude Shadow is about Suga's journey and struggles through fame, hard work, and self acceptance. Understanding that being famous is very hard and takes a tole on you and that having it all may be reversed and you might have nothing. Also alluding to those who have it all don't understand the hard work that some people put in for the fame ( a reference to BTS's debut and Suga's past).
