The Branches kick off this episode of Brunch with the Branches with the traditional drink of the day. Thomas is drinking Uncle Nearest Single Barrel neat. Kim’s Joy comes from a recent date weekend. The Branch recommendation this week is Inside Out 2, and although Thomas was skeptical he is now a fan. The main topic for this week is Summer Fun and we start off with a few spots for date night [7:22], birthday celebrations [14:38], and rooftop vibes [19:50]. We then talk about so other places to try, and most of them are black-owned. [34:40] We close out today’s episode discussing this new restaurant in St. Louis that has an age restriction of 35 and up.
