We’re all on a journey with our faith. Along the way we have to navigate new learning and new understanding and what it means for our beliefs and practices. The early church certainly found themselves in that situation as they pursued Jesus. Timothy had a journey that was steeped in the scriptures and religious tradition, but he was also uniquely positioned with certain experiences, circumstances, and traits that aided in his effectiveness as an early church leader.
